For sale here is a pre-fire H.L. Leonard Model 50DF bamboo rod -- 8 feet with two sections and two tips, with the attached hang tang by William Mills & Sons and original brass-capped tube. 

Beautiful medium-blonde toned cane complemented by honey wraps with emerald and honey tipping at the winding check, male ferrules, and tip-tops. The rod features a handsome slightly swelled butt with a ring hook keeper. Nickel silver checks. The cigar grip measures 5 1/4" in length with only light soiling and remains very smooth. Classic cap and ring reel seat over a mortised butternut spacer. The butt cap is stamped with "TOURNAMENT" along with the usual Leonard stamp of this era. The ferrules have a perfect fit. Indented witness marks in the ferrule shoulder. The rod weighs in at a lean 3.75 oz. The action is a smooth medium with a extra punch supplied by the swelled butt above the grip. 

The rod is in excellent restored condition, performed by a competent craftsmanship. All sections are full length without repair and straight.
