HOW TO INCORPORATE EXTRACTS IN
FORMULATIONS

*Most extracts should be added to the cool
down phase of the formulation.

• For heavy goods, such as shampoos and creams: To dissolve the powdered extract, add 5-10 ml of boiling water (45-50 C for the cool down phase) and mix thoroughly. Incorporate the mixture well into the product. 

• For water-based preparations like mists and toners, The extract can be added to the product without being dissolved.
