Slim chronograph pushers and a crown featuring the Bulova tuning fork logo are perfectly proportioned and ideally positioned at 3 oclock. Under the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is meticulously crafted from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite. This 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite was discovered in Northern Scandinavia in 1906, and its varied crystalline pattern makes every dial unique. A black tachymeter ring offers contrast around the dial, which features a retro Bulova logo. The slim hands and applied markers offer exceptional legibility and are applied with luminescent material for low-light display. The black recessed, circular grooved sub-dials include a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 oclock, running seconds with a sweep hand at 6 oclock, and 60-mi chronograph counter at 9 oclock. The Lunar Pilot is powered by Bulovas proprietary high precision quartz movement, resonating at a frequency of 262khz for unparalleled accuracy and affording a sweeping chronograph hand.
