If kerbs or edging are only used in a garden or patio — for separating steps, lawns, or planting areas — there is no need to choose kerb stones with excessive depth. In such decorative applications, kerb stones act primarily as a visual divider and light boundary rather than a load-bearing structure. A depth of around 100–150 mm is perfectly adequate, making installation easier while maintaining a clean and refined appearance.

Regarding the pencil edge finish, some customers prefer a more pronounced bevel, while others prefer it to be more subtle. In the end, we decided to keep it uniformly lighter across all products. This is because if the edge is too prominent, it cannot be easily corrected. But if it’s too subtle, it can always be ground further to your preference.
