The Continental D27N-U undercounter refrigerator’s stainless steel construction and aluminum back panel support heavy use and measures 31¹³/₁₆ inches high for undercounter use. The front of the unit is fitted with a solid door and chrome-polished handle. For versatile placement, the door can be reversed in the field, and its spring-loaded design enables a self-closing feature. The interior includes a steel shelf that has an epoxy coating for corrosion resistance and is insulated with 2-inch polyurethane foam.

The Continental D27N-U undercounter refrigerator’s self-contained refrigeration system and digital controller are mounted on the back of the unit, preventing collision damage from other equipment. For quick temperature adjustments, the unit can be rolled out on its four plate casters, while the digital controller’s high/low alarm sounds if temperature fluctuations occur. To reduce energy consumption and costs, the freezer’s hot gas condensate evaporator performs automatically, while the off-cycle defrost reduces ice buildup.
