Steam-distilled essential oils use steam or water to extract the natural oils directly from the plant. Some companies use chemicals to extract the oils, or they use carrier oils (and don't disclose the composition of the carrier oil).  Fragrance oils are not regulated, and most contain additional chemicals that can irritate the skin.

What is T&B Luxe Tallow?
Not all tallow is equal.  T&B Luxe Tallow is developed using our proprietary method of hand-rendering and hand-purifying beef suet using Mediterranean Sea salt in small batches.  Unlike most tallow-based products, T&B Luxe does NOT source our tallow pre-rendered in bulk that incorporates methods that use iodine salt, baking soda, and other non-complimentary ingredients.

T&B Luxe Tallow is sourced locally from small farms with grass-fed and pasture-raised stock. We know our farmers.

Is T&B Luxe Vegan?
T&B Luxe products are not vegan.  Research shows that tallow provides superior absorption into the skin over plant-based fats. T&B Luxe tallow is sustainable, using byproducts of beef production that would otherwise go to waste.
