This used Checkered Beveler stamp set was made by Midas (Kelly Tool Co) and includes tool numbers 605, 606 and 607. The tool impressions measure 1/8", 1/4" & 3/8" in width. Stamped on each tool is "Midas" with its number and "Kelly Tool Co New Zealand". There is some damage to the checker patterns, resulting in a couple tiny missing sections in the impressions (see photos). There is also some green paint on the handles. These old tools do not come available very often, so don't miss your chance to add a great tool set to your collection. It still has many miles left in it.

A later tool company whose tools started showing up in the USA in early 80s was Kelly Tool Co. of New Zealand. They sold their tools in this country under the Midas name. They were very nice tools with crisp detail and an attractive golden finish. These tools have become quite collectible because of the short time they were available.
