Bruno Mars steps back, rose-in-mouth, adding yet one more fling to a career full of flirtations with The Romantic, his first full-length LP after '24K Magic'. Though those years in between were spent heads-down in the studio, not the bedroom, bar or restaurant, much of this time shared with longtime partner in production D'Mile. Lead single 'I Just Might' sets the tone with green-suited funk and a funkiness not lost, as we see Mars follow the 'Uptown Funk' formula while body-double compositing sees him perform alongside five or six clones of himself. It's his first solo full-length since the late 2010s,z the remaining singles for which we'll just have to wait for.
