What's not to like about saving grams?  While other carbon probes feel more like a liability than a safety tool, we can vouch that the Mammut Carbon probes are SOLID and reliable. While the weight savings are just 5 grams compared to the aluminum version, carbon won't bend and has very strong tensile properties which is critical for probing.
