Pottery measures approximately 6-1/2" tall, 9" wide and is 21-1/4" in circumference (around its widest point).

This beautiful style of Navajo art is called horse hair pottery because actual horse hair is added to the pottery at just the right moment in the firing process to melt the hairs into the pottery, creating unique and incredible designs. This outstanding Native American Pot is hand etched and painted, by Navajo artist William Vail. The pottery is signed by the artist.
