SOLUBILITY: Arbutin is soluble in warm water, methanol, and alcohol.  It is slightly soluble in cold water.  Arbutin is insoluble in Aether, chloroform, and benzene.

Alpha Arbutin is a natural skin lightening product. It removes even the most obstinate hyperpigmentation, sunburns, spots, and freckles.
This naturally occurring chemical is obtained from bearberries, blueberries, and cranberries, which are naturally rich in antioxidants and other advantages that nature provides to help our skin repair and blossom.

Arbutin is quickly broken down in acidic environments, hence cosmetics containing it should have a pH value higher than 6.0.2.
Please dissolve arbutin in 50°C hot water before using it in skin whitening products.

Add to room temperature water and whisk until completely dissolved.
It may be added to any cream, lotion, or serum with an aqueous basis.
