RV Electric Steps RV Electric Steps by Stromberg Carlson feature 15 self-lubricating bushings for a maintenance-free operation and shoulder bolts to reduce the torque on the electric motor. With the power switch on, they extend when you open your RV door, and retract automatically when you close the door. If the power switch is off when you park and turn the ignition off, the steps will extend when the door is opened and stay extended while parked even though the door is opened again. This prevents unnecessary operation of the steps when going in and out. The steps will retract when the ignition is turned on, to prevent driving away with them extended. Includes:

• Weather proof wiring and connectors prevent shorts and corrosion in the 12-volt system

• Easily mounts and replaces other popular brands of electric RV steps

• These steps are heavy-duty powder coated for rust resistance

• Treads measure 24" w x 10-3/4" d. The single step has a 4.5" drop and the double and triple steps have an 8" drop between treads
