The Alchemist's Euphoria," the most insane masterpiece created by the new British national monster band Kasabian, the king of UK rock, will visit Japan for the first time in five years for Sonic Mania in August 2022 and Summer Sonic (Osaka show only). Kasabian will release their new album "The Alchemists Euphoria", their seventh album in total. Kasabian has released six albums since their debut in 2004, five of which reached No. 1 in the UK album charts, and has won numerous music awards including the "Best Group" award at the Brit Awards, the UK's Grammy Awards. In 2020, vocalist Tom Meighan left the band, leaving Serge Pizzorno, who had played a key role as guitarist, backup vocalist, and songwriter, to take over as the band's lead singer and guitarist. The band will re-launch with a new lineup, with Serge Pizzorno (Serge) stepping in as frontman, having previously played the key roles of guitar, backup vocals, and songwriting.Speaking about the new album, Serge said, "What makes this album different from previous albums is that it is a work of art that has a sense of unity, with songs that were gathered together as they were meant to be gathered together. Listening to it as a single piece and mastering it was a beautiful moment. It is a work worthy of joining the ranks of the seventh album - Seven in the Wilderness," he says. The new single "SCRIPTVRE" was produced by Fraser T. Smith, who has worked with Adele and Drake and is known for his UK Grime productions. The heavy hip-hop beat combined with Surge's aggressive rap and vocals makes this song a must-have for live performances. Kasabian is scheduled to perform at Sonic Mania and Summer Sonic immediately following the release of the new album. Having headlined two of the world's major UK music festivals, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, and being highly regarded as one of the world's top live acts, expectations for their first performance in five years on the Japanese stage are rising even higher.
