This beautiful Green Tara Dzi pendant features a tiny golden depiction of Green Tara on a throne with a small dzi bead behind her head. The back of the pendant is embossed with a Tam (ཏཱྃ) syllable which is Noble Lady Tara's seed syllable as well as wish fulfilling jewels also known as cintamani or mani jewels. The bottom is embossed with OM MANI PADME HUNG.

Green Tara is believed to have originated from the tears of compassion shed by the Buddha Avalokiteshvara. According to legend, she was once a princess who vowed to always be reborn as a woman until all beings are free from suffering.

She is known as the Mother of all Buddhas, as she is the embodiment of the wisdom and compassion of all the Buddhas.
